Rajesh Exports' overseas plans

Mumbai, June 6

The Board of the diamond and jewellery company Rajesh Exports Ltd has authorised Mr Rajesh Mehta, the company's Executive Chairman, to identify, negotiate and conclude opportunities for overseas joint ventures/takeovers. The company informed BSE that Mr Mehta has been authorised to explore these joint ventures/acquisitions up to an amount of Rs 1,000 crore. The company has cash reserves of Rs 1,000 crore generated from internal accruals, and the proceeds from its recent FCCB issue.
