DUCKLINGS ON KOCHI backwaters. The Central Government last year launched an assistance scheme for 164 farms, of which 21 are duck farms and the rest poultry, turkey and quail farms. The scheme included revolving funds of Rs 85 lakh for purchase of breeding stock, feed, ingredients, transportation, medicines and vaccines.
