AstraZeneca appointments

Bangalore, June 7

AstraZeneca Pharma India Ltd's MD, Mr Bhasker Iyer, is moving to Singapore on promotion as Area Vice-President, South-East Asia and India. The company said Mr Iyer is the first person from India to take over the prestigious position, effective from June 1.

Mr Anandh Balasundaram will be the new MD at Bangalore, reporting to Mr Iyer. Mr Balasundaam was Vice-President Sales and Marketing. Both will be part of the Asia- Pacific executive team.
