Indo Rama Synthetics sales up

Our Bureau

New Delhi June 7 Indo Rama Synthetics Ltd has announced a jump in sales during the first two months of this fiscal following the capacity expansion at its Nagpur unit going on stream.

The company's combined sales during April-May 2007 was up 63 per cent at 73,459 tonnes from 45,171 tonnes clocked during the corresponding period in 2006, a company release said.

"With the recent expansion of our facility at Butibori, we have recorded a considerable growth in our sales. This is reflective of the market buoyancy and the existing demand. We are confident that going forward we would be able to cater to the demand existing in the market," Mr O.P. Lohia, Chairman and Managing Director.
