IICT scientist bags INSA award

Hyderabad, June 7

Dr Subhash Ghosh, Scientist, Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), here has been selected for the Indian National Science Academy (INSA) Young Scientist Award-2007 for his scientific contribution in the field of total synthesis of biologically active products by employing modern scientific methods. The award carries a medal and a cash award of Rs 25,000. Dr Ghosh would be presented the award at the annual general body meeting of INSA in December 2007 at Delhi, according to a release.
