STEADY GROWTH: Curry powder being packed at a smallscale manufacturing unit in Kochi, Kerala. Curry powder/paste exports last fiscal increased. During 2006-07, a quantity of 9,500 tonnes of curry powder/paste, valued at Rs 86.92 crore, was exported against 9,340 tonnes, valued at Rs 78.38 crore, in 2005-06. The UK was the major market for curry powder/paste, importing 2,222 tonnes.
