A one-day industry-institute interactive meet on `industry expectation from budding technocrats in free trade environment' will be held at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Textile Management here tomorrow. The meet is intended to address the issues relating to the changes in the manpower requirements and expectations of the industry in a globalised trade environment and the knowledge gaps in the academia coming in the way of fulfilling the industry's needs. The programme is jointly sponsored by Saradar Vallabhbhai institute and the Nodal Centre for Upgradation of Textile Education as part of the faculty training, a press release from the institute has said.
