TV 18 Group under Network 18, the group's listed holding company, has floated a new division called E18. This marks their entry into entertainment and news/information events after a joint venture with Viacom Inc, last month.

Mr Farhad K. Wadia has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer for the new operation. In his last assignment, he was working with Hindustan Times as Vice-President - Events & Marketing in New Delhi. E18 would try and dominate the Live Entertainment space by leveraging the various media brands owned and managed by TV 18 Group, a press release said.
