Bacardi rejigs top management

New Delhi June 8 Bacardi-Martini India Ltd (BMIL) on Friday announced a slew of changes in its management cadre.

The company has appointed Mr Jayant Kapur as the Chairman of the board of directors. It also said that it has promoted Mr Mahesh Madhavan as the President and CEO of BMIL from his current position as Managing Director, Bacardi Thailand.

In a statement issued here, Mr Luis Bach, Region Director Northern Europe, Middle East, India and Africa and a member of the Bacardi Executive Committee, said: "India has been identified as a priority growth investment market for Bacardi. We have aggressive plans to grow our global portfolio of brands in India."
