Actress Simran

Hyderabad, June 9

CavinKare, the Chennai-based personal care food products company, has roped in actress Simran as its brand ambassador to promote Chinni's - its food products brand. Announcing this at a press conference, Mr Ramesh Viswanathan, Vice-President (Marketing), said the food products segment had a great scope. It contributed Rs 50 crore last year in a total turnover of Rs 500 crore. For the current financial year, the division was expected to contribute Rs 100 crore in a turnover of Rs 700 crore. Keeping in mind the huge opportunity, the company would now focus on marketing and distribution to reach out the products.
