PCB awareness drive in Kerala

The State Government has drafted the State Pollution Control Board in its efforts to launch an awareness campaign against the spread of chikungunya in the State. The board has constituted a special action team to pilot the awareness campaign in educational institutions and community centres.

The team will give away specially prepared pamphlets, stickers and badges during visits to these places. The core team will consist of environmental engineers, Mr E.J. Vijayabhas, Dr C. Geevarghese, Mr K.P. Mohandas and Ms P. Molikkutty. The head of each district office of the board will be joint convenor for that district.
