Gayatri bags Rs 140-cr orders

Hyderabad, June 11

Hyderabad-based construction company Gayatri Projects Ltd has bagged two contracts amounting to Rs 140.26 crore.

According to a release, the projects involved construction jobs worth Rs 78.81 crore and irrigation works of Rs 61.45 crore pertaining to additional works of Veligonda project, widening of feeder canal to ultimate discharge of 328 cusecs, raising of Sunkesula dam from 230 m to 248 m and strengthening of existing embankments on the Nagavali river.

The current total order book of the company was at Rs 2,954.06 crore, which includes public works and irrigation projects in various States including Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Gujarat, the release said.
