HP has 71% share in blade server

Hewlett-Packard has gained market share in the blade server category during the January-March 2007, capturing 71 per cent market share in terms of unit shipments, as per IDC's India Quarterly Server Tracker, 1Q1 2007. It retained the category leadership position in the x86 server market in India capturing 30 per cent share in unit shipments during the first quarter of 2007. HP also retained its leading position in the 1P, 2P and 4P server categories with 22 to 32 per cent and 50 per cent market share, respectively, in the x86 class.
