PARTICIPANTS AT a national conclave on `Towards a People's Alliance' break into a jig when Rajasthani artistes sang `dohas' (couplets) of Kabir at Lalit Kala Thoranam in Hyderabad on Wednesday. ActionAid organised the four-day conclave, which brought together a diverse mix of cultural ambassadors from across the country to share their experiences and conduct socio-political debates representing the voice of the repressed.
