The Birla School of Management run by the Vidya Mandir Society headed by Mr S.K. Birla, proposes to launch shortly a two-year post-graduate management programme, Masters in Management Administration (MMA), with focus on entrepreneurship development.

Addressing newspersons here on Thursday, Mr Birla said the programme would be benchmarked to international standards with the objective of maximising returns through optimum allocation of resources. The two-year MMA programme will be affiliated to the West Bengal University of Technology and will cost about Rs 1.70 lakh (i.e. Rs 85,000 for each year). In all, 60 students will be taken in each year and the programme will start from August this year.
