RISING VALUE: Small cardamom kept for sale at a retail outlet in Kochi, Kerala. During 2006-07, 650 tonnes of small cardamom, valued at Rs 22.36 crore, were exported against 863 tonnes, valued at Rs 26.82 crore, in 2005-06. The unit value realisation increased from Rs 310.86 a kg in 2005-06 to Rs 344 in 2006-07.
