Toonz Licensing has bagged the South Asia licensing rights of the popular television and film character Mr Bean. The company, which is the licensing and merchandising arm of Toonz, has signed an agreement with Tiger Aspect Productions for this, says a Toonz press release.

The company will be the licensing agent for Mr Bean in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal. Played by Rowan Atkinson, the Mr Bean character first appeared on television screens in 1990. Since then, the character has also appeared in two major films, including the recent Mr Bean's Holiday, the release adds.
