Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) has received the award for `Best Exporter through NMPT (New Mangalore Port Trust)' at a function organised by the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FKCCI) in Bangalore. A company release said here the company received the award from Mr P.B. Mahishi, Chief Secretary of Karnataka Government, and Mr P. Tamilvanan, Chairman of NMPT, in Bangalore recently. The award is in recognition of the volume of export performance of MRPL in 2006-07, the release added.
