Opinion - Letters
Unjustified exclusion

There are enough indications that there will be a boom for electric small-cars in the next five years. One million cars of 9000 km average annual run will mean consumption of 0.7 million tonnes of petrol.

Small electric cars at plausibly not much extra cost, at far cheaper running cost and pollution-free drive, should invite the attention of knowledge-based Indian designers. There should be focus in this direction as in 10-15 years' time fuel cell cars will be commercially viable.
