TNAU farmer meet on June 23

Farmers can look forward to having new crop varieties and farm management technologies released for the current year during a farmers' seminar to be held at the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University here on June 23. According to a University communication, the State Agriculture Minister, Mr Veerapandi S. Arumugam, to participate in the seminar, will also release farm implements and new welfare schemes for farmers.

A special farm technology exhibition and awards for progressive farmers will be other highlights. The State Rural Industries Minister, Mr Pongalur N. Palanisamy, and top officials from other development departments, will also attend.
