Bank of Maharashtra pays dividend

New Delhi, June 20

Bank of Maharashtra has paid a dividend of Rs 66.10 crore to the Government for the financial year 2006-07. The Chairman and Managing Director, Mr M.D. Mallya, handed over the dividend cheque to the Union Finance Minister, Mr P. Chidambaram, on Monday. The Government has a 76.77 per cent stake in the bank. A statement issued by the bank said that its shareholders had on June 7 approved a dividend of 20 per cent for 2006-07.
