NIPM annual meet from September 6

The National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM) will hold its three-day silver jubilee annual conference here from September 6.
Among those who are expected to address the leading sessions are Dr Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission, and Mr N.R. Narayana Murthy, Chairman of the Board and Chief Mentor, Infosys Technologies.
The State Industries Minister, Mr Elamaram Kareem, launched the conference Web site and released the conference brochure at a function held at the Press Club here today.
Mr M. Ayyappan, Chairman and Managing Director, Hindustan Latex and Co-Chairman of the national organising committee, presided. Mr P. Sudeep, Chairman, NIPM Thiruvananthapuram chapter, welcomed the gathering and Mr G. L. Muraleedharan, general convenor of local organising committee proposed a vote of thanks.

The annual conference will also feature prominent speakers, including Mr Akhil Basrai, Global Head (HR), IBM; Mr K. Shankar, Director (HR), Bharti Airtel; Mr Ramkumar, Head (HR), ICICI Bank, and its Group of Companies; Mr V. S. Mahesh, Professor, University of Buckingham; Ms Hema Ravichander, former Vice-President (HR), Infosys Technologies; Dr Prasad Kaipa, CEO, Kaipa Group; and Mr C. S. Venkataratnam, Director, International Management Institute, New Delhi.
