Now that it has been made public that the Prime Minister had a list of 10 eminent women who can be considered for the post of the President, there is understandably some heartburn among Congress members of the fair sex who feel they too could have made it to Rashtrapati Bhavan. Confirmation of this came when a colleague caught a senior Congress politician telling someone on the phone that "these days there are many women in the party who are feeling depressed, suppressed and oppressed."
