Bangalore June 21 MindTree Consulting Ltd has announced its alliance with Borland Software India Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Borland Software Corporation, to launch a centre of excellence (CoE) in India.

As part of this alliance, the two companies will jointly set up the next generation software testing CoE lab at MindTree's development centre in Bangalore.

The CoE will serve as a technology incubation hub and provide training, evaluation software, online learning, technical seminars and solution demonstration to testing professionals at the company. It will be fully operational by June 30.

The MindTree Consulting's President and Chief Executive Officer, IT Services, Mr Krishnakumar Natarajan, said, "The Borland Testing CoE at the MindTree development centre in Bangalore will help our customers rely on industry leading solutions for their performance testing and test automation needs."
