Coimbatore June 21 Mobile phone service provider Hutch has cut by 50 per cent the minimum monthly recharge payment for pre-paid customers. Hutch pre-paid customers could retain the connection at a cost of just Rs 99 per month instead of the minimum monthly recharge of Rs 199 earlier. The company said that it was the `first mobile service provider to offer a month's validity at this price'. Mr Harit Nagpal, Marketing Director, Hutch, said that Hutch was the first mobile operator to introduce the concept of micro recharges for as low as Rs 10 in 2005 and the latest move was another step in making a Hutch connection very affordable. It is effective from June 16.
