New Delhi June 21 Jet Airways has ordered 13 new ATR 72-500 aircraft that have an estimated list price of $238 million. In a statement, the airline said that it has concluded agreement for six of these aircraft directly with the Ireland-based leasing company, Aircraft International Renting, a subsidiary of TAT Leasing. "Jet Airways has also concluded the purchase agreement for the remaining seven aircraft. Before delivery, the airline intends to conclude lease agreement for these aircraft also," the statement added. At present the airline has five ATR 72-500 aircraft in its fleet. The aircraft can seat 64 passengers. The induction of new aircraft will start this year and will continue till 2010.
