Pacts with Iceland, Brunei

New Delhi, June 21

The Government on Thursday gave its approval for singing the Bilateral Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement (BIPPA) with Iceland and Brunei. The agreements are aimed at increasing investments between the countries, the Union Information and Broadcasting Minister, Mr P.R. Dasmunsi, told reporters after a meeting of the Union Cabinet in the Capital on Thursday. He added that both the agreements would be for a period of 10 years.
