GVK Power picks GVK Aviation

Hyderabad, June 22

GVK Power & Infrastructure Ltd has informed the BSE that the company has acquired 19.9 lakh equity shares of Rs 10 each for cash at par, aggregating to Rs 1.99 crore in GVK Aviation Pvt Ltd through fresh allotment of shares on June 21. As a result of this acquisition, GVK Aviation has become a wholly owned subsidiary of the company with effect from June 21. GVK Aviation, incorporated on March 21, 2007, is engaged in the business of owning and chartering private aircrafts and helicopters.
