Syntel Inc opens new facility in Chennai

Chennai June 22 Syntel Inc a global information technology services and business process outsourcing company, has opened up its new facility at DLF SEZ IT Park in Nandambakkam, near Chennai. The new software development facility has come in 80,000 sq. ft built-up area having a seat capacity of 750.

The new facility will provide IT services to Syntel's global health, banking and insurance clients. Syntel has invested around Rs 8 crore in this new facility.

Syntel is the first occupant in DLF SEZ IT Park, Nandambakkam.

On the expansion mode, Syntel is about to commence its construction of 29 acre SEZ facility in Siruseri IT Park and expects to build nine lakh sq. ft in Phase 1 at a cost approximate Rs. 235 crore.
