Everonn bags Gujarat order

Mumbai, June 25

The Chennai based e-education enabler Everonn Systems has bagged a contract worth Rs 30 crore from the Gujarat Government to set up IT labs in State-run schools. "We will be implementing the computer literacy project in 1,256 schools in southern districts of Gujarat," Mr P. Kishore, Managing Director, Everonn Systems, said at a news conference today. Everonn will implement the project through the build-own-operate-transfer (BOOT) model. Everonn Systems is a fully integrated knowledge management, education and learning solutions company. The company also provides job opportunity to teachers as they recruit candidates locally and train and employ them in the centres. The company has 2,400 employees and has operations in 10 Indian States.
