PhoneLinx launches Indyarocks

Our Bureau

Hyderabad June 25 PhoneLinx Communications on Monday launched its Mobile and Online Social Networking Portal — Indyarocks.com.

Indyarocks seeks to intersect the three fastest growing areas of the Internet right now — social networking, user-generated content and mobile. This is an online and mobile-based social networking site for connecting Indians across the globe. This allows members to stay in touch with their network of friends and family even on the move.

Indyarocks primarily allows members to build and leverage their network of contacts in `incredibly powerful ways'. The platform also provides unlimited media (photos, videos, blogs, classifieds etc.) storage and sharing capabilities for all its users through its media centre.

During its private beta, Indyarocks introduced mobile online interactivity through its 2-way SMS services like SMS scraps and calendar notifications. Now to mark its public launch, Indyarocks introduced MMS-based blogging, photo uploads and `My Diary'.
