Mahindra Renault plans to expand dealer network

Bangalore June 26 Mahindra Renault will ramp up its dealer network to 43 by the month-end to meet the growing demand for the Logan passenger introduced in April. The dealer network will be increased to 70 in the next two months, said a company official.

The company sold 2,786 cars in different variants in May, when the commercial launch started. About 71 per cent of the cars sold so far were diesel models of Logan, which is being manufactured at Mahindra and Mahindra's facility in Nashik.

At a press conference in Bangalore on Tuesday, Mr Nalin Mehta, Vice-President, Sales and Marketing, Mahindra Renault Pvt Ltd, also announced the national launch of two new variants of Logan — 1.6 litre GLX and 1.5 litre DLX (diesel). priced Rs 5.32 lakh and Rs 6.08 lakh respectively in Bangalore.
