Easun Reyrolle buying Canadian co unit

Chennai June 26 Easun Reyrolle Ltd, which manufactures power transmission equipment, said it is acquiring the `relay and recorder business' of Nxtphase T&D Corporation of Canada. The acquisition is on on-going basis, including all the assets and liabilities of the division, a press release from the company says.

For the purpose of this, the company is setting up a wholly owned subsidiary in Canada, under the name `ERLPHASE Power Technologies Ltd', which will be responsible for conducting the business being acquired, the release says.
