C&C, B Seenaiah venture signs agreement for NHAI project

New Delhi, June 28 A joint venture of C&C Constructions Ltd and B Seenaiah & Co (Projects) Ltd has signed a concession agreement with the National Highways Authority of India for a 44 km stretch in Kurali-Kiratpur road project.

The project, valued at Rs 400 crore, involves a Rs 44 crore grant (subsidy) from the Central Government. The concession period is for 20 years including period of two and a half years, stated a company release.

This is C&C Constructions’ first venture into the build-operate-transfer segment. The company has been granted a concession to develop, design, construct, maintain and operate the 44 km stretch which connects Chandigarh to districts of Himachal Pradesh including the tourist destination and apple producing belt of Kullu valley.
