Lok Housing net falls 19%

Mumbai, June 30 Real estate company Lok Housing and Constructions Ltd announced a 19 per cent dip in net profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 at Rs 18.3 crore against Rs 22.6 crore logged for the same period last year. Total income dropped 15 per cent to Rs 53.5 crore from Rs 63 crore. However, for the full year profit more than tripled to Rs 95.1 crore against last year’s Rs 22.6 crore. Total income also rose 206.3 per cent to Rs 270.2 crore from Rs 88.2 crore. “Till date, we have successfully executed and developed along with our group companies over 31 projects and 8.93 million sq.ft. of townships, educational institutes and commercial units,” said Mr Lalit C. Gandhi, Chairman and Managing Director. —
