Thiruvananthapuram, July 1

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd has announced the launch of a new ‘student SMS plan’ in Kerala under the existing ‘Student Power 99’ post-paid mobile phone connection plan. The new scheme offers student subscribers 100 free messages a month to numbers in the BSNL network anywhere in India. It also offers unlimited SMS at 15 paise per message to numbers in any other mobile phone network in Kerala, a press release said. New connection under this plan will be given for 89 days from July 1 to September 27 this year. Fixed charges, call charges and all other terms and conditions will be as per the ‘Student Power 99’ plan. All existing ‘Student Power’ subscribers will be automatically migrated to the new SMS plan, the release added. –
