Ashok Nayak new HAL Bangalore chief

Bangalore, July 2 Mr Ashok Nayak has taken over as the Managing Director (Bangalore Complex) of Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. Mr Nayak succeeds Mr Ashok K. Saxena, who has superannuated after nearly 38 years of service with HAL.

Mr Nayak was GM of the Aircraft Division prior to his elevation. He led the production teams of Jaguar, Lakshya and Hawk, apart from HAL’s export activities.

He joined HAL in 1973 as Management Trainee and has served in capacities related to manufacture, quality assurance, production planning/control, customer service and engineering services. He also held the responsibility of the Aerospace Division manufactures the structural assemblies and tankages of satellite launchers PSLV/GSLV.
