Aptech expanding in Vietnam

Mumbai, July 5

Aptech Ltd has signed an MOU (memorandum of understanding) with the Vietnam-based company FPT to open 20 IT & multimedia training centres in Vietnam by 2008. The IT education provider expects revenues in Vietnam to touch $30 million by the end of 2009, more than double the $12 million it expects in 2007, said a news release. Aptech and FPT entered into an agreement in 1999 for providing IT training in Vietnam, with two centres. Currently, Aptech and FPT jointly operate about 31 institutes in Vietnam. The Aptech scrip was down by 3.76 per cent at Rs 305.85 on the BSE today.
