India provides line of credit to Gabon

New Delhi, July 5

India is providing a line of credit (LoC) for $14.5 million for a housing project in Gabon. New Delhi has also agreed to further liberalise the LoC, which would be used to construct houses in Libreville, capital of Gabon. This was conveyed in a letter from the Union Finance Minister, Mr P. Chidambaram, to the Finance Minister of Gabon, Mr Paul Toungul.

The letter was handed over by Mr Pawan Kumar Bansal, Minister of State for Finance, to Ms. Gisele Laure Eyang Ntoutoume, Deputy Minister for Housing & Urban Development, Gabon, on Wednesday.
