Vietnamese PM felicitated

The Vietnamese Prime Minister, Mr Nguyen Tan Dung, visited Tata Steel here yesterday. He was felicitated by Mr B. Muthuraman, Managing Director of Tata Steel. The latter, according to a press release, said he thanked “everyone” in Vietnam Steel Corporation and the Vietnamese Government for extending their support enabling the MoU between Tata Steel and Vietnam Steel Corporation to go through. Mr Muthuraman added that, “it is our intension to come up with a high quality steel plant and mining facility in Vietnam as soon as possible”. The Vietnamese Prime Minister said that he admired “the spirit of self-reliance of the people of Jamshedpur.” —
