Mumbai, July 6 Taneja Aerospace & Aviation Ltd, with its business in general aviation, airfield services, consultancy and manufacturing of aero-structures, informed the BSE that the board of directors of the company is restructuring its current businesses to “exploit the fast emerging opportunities in the aviation sector.”

The company could not consider its fourth quarter and annual results at the board meeting held on June 28 in order to reflect the benefits of restructuring of the business.

The details of the proposed restructuring would be intimated separately, the BSE announcement said.

In the quarter ended December 2006, its net profit grew by 29 per cent to Rs 2.7 crore from Rs 2.1 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Total income declined by 7 per cent to Rs 6.9 crore (Rs 7.4 crore).
