Our Bureau Hyderabad, July 6 In a major relief to ferro alloy units in the State, the Andhra Pradesh Government has decided to waive electricity duty payable by the units for the power they generated for captive use. The State Cabinet, which met here on Wednesday, had decided to amend the G.O. 123 of Energy Department (2003) that mandated the plants to pay 25 paise per unit for the power they generated and consumed.
