RINL posts Rs 2,026-cr turnover

Visakhapatnam, July 6

Strategic marketing decisions and better customer relations have enabled Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL) here to achieve the best ever first quarter sales turnover of Rs 2,026 crore during the current financial year, according to a press release issued by the company. The plant could sell 6.34 lakh tonnes of steel in the domestic market, of which 2.94 lakh tonnes was special steel; 1,45,767 tonnes were for projects segment and 5,571 tonnes to district dealers serving the rural market.
