Sanyo BPL sets sales target

Kochi, July 6

To cash in on the ensuing Onam festival season, Sanyo BPL Pvt Ltd is targeting a market share of 15 per cent in colour TV segment in the State. The company plans to achieve this through the range of slim TVs under the Sanyo and BPL brands. This range includes the world’s slimmest TV and the world’s first slim TV with 1,200 watts, Mr Toshiaki Iue, President, Sanyo TV International said at a press meet. “We see tremendous potential for our brands in Kerala and internally we consider Kerala as a focus market,” said Mr Keiji Oshima, President and COO, Sanyo BPL Pvt Ltd. Sanyo digital cameras are being launched shortly, he said. –
