Emirates plans extra flights

Mumbai, July 7

Dubai-based Emirates Airline plans to enhance its capacity to Mumbai, Chennai, Kochi and Hyderabad. It plans to introduce a third daily service to Mumbai and two daily operations to Chennai starting October 28. It will also introduce three additional flights each to Kochi and Hyderabad over the summer and winter seasons, according to a release. At present, the airline operates 71 flights per week in India and this number would increase to 85 with the additional services. Emirates will operate wide-bodied Airbus 330-200 and Boeing 777 aircraft in two and three-class configurations. According to the release, flight schedules have been planned to maximise morning arrivals in Dubai and seamless onward connections to Emirates' global network. - Our Bureau
