Reservation in private industries

It is felt that no law should be enacted for reservation in private industries. Recently, the Assocham President, Mr Venugopal N. Dhoot, said that those industries which are implementing it (reservations) should be compensated with excise benefit and some fiscal incentives. Though this suggestion appears good, it could lead to more corruption in the industries. The income to the exchequer will be reduced, without benefiting the people it is meant for.
