Textile machinery manufacturer Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd, Coimbatore, has won the second prize for Excellence in Cost Management under the manufacturing category in the private sector. The award has been instituted by the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI).

Mr J. Sridhar, Senior GM-Finance, and Ms R.Chandrakala, Senior Manager-Cost Management, LMW, received the award from Mr Prem Chand Gupta, Minister for Corporate Affairs, at a function held in New Delhi.
