MSN group acquires Armour Pharma unit

Hyderabad, July 12 The MSN Group of companies, which is predominantly engaged in the bulk actives business, has acquired a unit of Armour Pharmaceuticals for an undisclosed amount to facilitate its foray into formulations.

The Hyderabad-based Rs 145-crore MSN Group is a large manufacturer of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). The acquisition will help the group move up the value chain in the pharma industry by rolling out a series of products in the finished dosages segment , said Dr M.S.N. Reddy, Chairman.
