Biodiesel unit at Vizag planned

Hyderabad, July 12

Southern Online Bio-Technologies (SBT), which began commercial production of biodiesel on Thursday at its Nalgonda unit, has decided to set up another unit in Visakhapatnam with an investment of Rs 75 crore. “We are trying options such as preferential allotment, FCCB and GDRs to raise the funds,” Mr Satish Kumar, Managing Director, said. The Nalgonda plant can produce 40,000 litres a day.
