Kiddy Bank scheme relaunched

Visakhapatnam, July 12

Andhra Bank relaunched the Kiddy Bank scheme here on Thursday in the JK Talent school in the MVP Colony. On the occasion, Mr K. Sethuprasad, Deputy General Manager, said the scheme, available to children and teenagers up to the age of 18, was intended to inculcate the savings habit. The bank is offering accident insurance cover of Rs 1 lakh to the parents and the child by charging a nominal premium of Rs 55 per account. It also covers an education grant of Rs 5,000 to Rs 1 0,000 in the event of the death of a parent.
